This work is a collaboration with mayan artisan women from Guatemala, Santa Clara Atitlán, Solola.

By them ebroydering their own story, they open us a window to their world. Each woman chooses a piece of her culture, life and surrounding, a colorful tale of their lives. These women are masters with the thread which is their way to communicate, create, and make a living, next to hard field work.

These women are a last standing rock in their village where 50% is opting to migrate to the USA without documentation.

Each piece is unique and a window into the mayan wisdom and approach to life.
